Erdman joins Xiocom with 20 years of technology sales and global business management experience. He most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of Channels and Alliances for Novell, where he successfully grew the partner business and served as the executive sponsor for the Novell Routes to Market strategy. He was a member of the Novell Senior Leadership Team and CMP Global Channel Leadership Board Member.
Prior to his tenure at Novell, Erdman held executive leadership positions with Dell, where he helped build Dells Networking Business before being selected to lead the Global Industrial Sales team. He delivered record revenue, profit, and market share, and was responsible for $1.5b in global revenue for Dell’s top 60 Global Industrial Customers.
Erdman also spent two years at 3Com Corporation, first as Vice President of Channel Sales and Strategy, America Sales , and then as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Services for 3Com’s Business Connectivity Company.
He started his professional career in 1987 as a sales trainee at IBM, and held various management positions before his appointment as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, in IBM’s Consumer Division.
Erdman holds a degree in finance from the University of Georgia.
